Educators Name Triumph Learning’s Waggle Tech & Learning Best of Show
State-specific versions of smart-practice solution provide aligned materials to help students master math and ELA skills
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) July 09, 2015
Triumph Learning, producer of critically acclaimed K-12 instructional materials and interactive digital tools, was recognized as Best of Show by Tech & Learning for its online learning platform, Waggle, at the 2015 ISTE Conference and Exhibition in Philadelphia. The award program honors innovative classroom solutions that help students and teachers improve learning outcomes.
Launched during ISTE 2014 in Atlanta, Waggle generates a smart practice environment to help students in grades 3-8 build critical-thinking skills and prepare for assessments. The online tool champions productive struggle by creating a safe and engaging space for students to explore and build confidence in English language arts and math. Waggle also offers teachers a differentiated instructional tool set so they can easily group students and deliver recommended practice or instruction to groups or individual students to meet students where they are.
“This award demonstrates how, even in a short period of time, educators can recognize the positive impact Waggle has on creating personalized pathways for student learning,” said Aoife Dempsey, chief technology officer of Triumph Learning. “We’re continuing to look to educators to help us make Waggle the ultimate tool in helping students reach their goals and accelerate learning.”
An anonymous panel of educator judges, who experienced the solution firsthand on the exhibit hall floor during the conference, selected Waggle as a recipient of the honor. Judges evaluated Waggle on quality, effectiveness, ease of use and creative use of technology. It was named Best of Show based on the impact the solution has in the classroom to improve student learning.
