Job Title:  Sr. Editor/Digital Content - ELA

Job Summary:

Triumph Learning has an opening for a Sr. Editor/Digital Content - ELA.The Sr. Editor/Digital Content is responsible for managing and editing digital projects from conception to delivery with minimal assistance from the Supervising Editor. The Sr. Editor must be able to work autonomously, act as a team leader for assigned projects and work effectively with digital and other cross-functional teams.

Education/Experience Required:

  • This position requires a bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in K-12 educational publishing.
  • Experience also includes acting as a team leader and mentoring less-experienced editors.
  • Candidate must have extensive knowledge of Common Core, state standards, pedagogy.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the K-12 English language arts content area.
  • Experience working in a content management system is required.
  • Expertise with Word, Excel and Adobe Pro are required.
  • Experience working on both print and digital products is required.
  • Classroom experience is a plus.
  • Responsibilities include:

    • Managing and editing K-12 projects independently.
    • Conceptualize parts of products, with guidance, and write prototypes and guidelines for internal and external editorial stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate content expertise in K-12 English Language arts.
    • Act as a Team Leader for assigned projects and mentor less experienced team members as necessary.
    • Must be able to prioritize time, effort and have ability to shift focus quickly in order to meet challenging schedules.
    • Monitor competitive products as well as industry publications in order to provide ideas for future product development.
    • Consistently produce highest quality editorial work, including writing, editing, copyediting, fact checking and proofreading.
    • Manage schedules to avoid delays and work with supervising editor and project managers to resolve bottlenecks.
    • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other internal departments.
    • Maintain a solution-based approach to problems arising in the normal course of the editorial publishing plan.
    • Monitor and track standards/tests in states for which projects are or will soon be under development.


    Job Title:  Sales Representative - South Central Region of Florida

    Job Summary:

    The South Central, FL Sales Representative will be responsible for growing revenue, increasing market penetration and deepening relationships with current customers and generating new relationships within the assigned territory. The position requires proactive conversations and needs analysis for accounts in the area. The following functions are critical to success: prospecting, qualifying, selling new business and coordination of all territory functions.

    The primary responsibilities of the position are:

    • Promote Triumph Learning products and successfully close business through So.Central, FL area.
    • Nurture targeted new accounts.
    • Manage select education customers and achieve assigned quota.
    • Renewal and up-sell of new and existing products to customer base.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for key customers.
    • Identify and develop multi-site opportunities that can be converted to district-based sales.
    • Participate in local sales events with districts.
    • Collaborate internally to ensure all involved parties are communicating on district concerns/technical issues/training.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    Candidate skills will include an organized and results-oriented approach in selling new business and in managing existing customers for a specific market. A strong skill-set in ability to communicate the entire spectrum of company products - both print and digital, Salesforce (CRM) usage, closing ability, administration, multi-tasking, and excellent oral/written communication skills are required.

    Requirements for the successful candidate are:

    • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.
    • Proven positive experience within the K-12 environment.
    • Solid command of account sales fundamentals and solution selling skills.
    • Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving and relationship building skills.
    • Educational technology / digital learning experience is a plus.
