Triumph Learning Isider

Last week, educators and education technology leaders gathered in Austin, Texas for SXSWedu 2014. The show featured speakers and sessions on a range of topics, including Gaming in Education, Personalized Learning, Adaptive Learning, Common Core State Standards, Data and more. Here are some of the highlights from the show:

  • Our CTO, Aoife Dempsey, presented in "At the Helm: Women's Impact in EdTech," sharing the importance of involving educators in the product development process so that education technology truly meets their needs in the classroom.
  • Jose Ferreira, CEO of Knewton, talked about the ways that truly adaptive technology can help students succeed, leading to a better world: "The data we can give to teachers now is like nothing the world has ever seen before. [...] If you solve education, you solve everything."
  • Actor and educator Jeffrey Tambor delivered an inspiring closing keynote, and applauded all teachers in the audience for the incredible work that they do. Bravo!
